Penny Marchand, CFP, EA is the principal of Cambridge Financial Group, LLC. Penny started her career in financial planning in 1988. She enjoyed the client interaction, but was bothered by the conflict of interest inherent in commission planning. In 1995 she discovered fee-only planning and has since become an ardent advocate of the fee-only process.

Penny is a Certified Financial Planner, Registered Investment Advisor and is a graduate of the College for Financial Planning. She is also an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, Department of the Treasury. Penny is a graduate of the Cambridge Advantage training program and has obtained the Series 7, 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses, as well as an insurance license. Penny is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors and is a licensed Cambridge Advisor.

Penny has been married to Gaston Marchand, a Tucson architect, for over thirty years. Their son, Matthew, is an entrepreneur and college student in San Jose, California.

We also work closely with CPAs, estate planning attorneys, elder care attorneys, and risk management experts to ensure your plan is accurate from a tax, legal, and risk-minimized perspective. We will often coordinate meetings with your CPA and attorneys to ensure that all advisors are on the same page and focusing on what's right for you.
